WORK PERMITS (UK) SHORTAGE OCCUPATION LIST
The following occupations are recognised by Work Permits (UK) as 'shortage
occupations'. This recognition acknowledges that there are acute shortages
of suitably qualified and skilled workers within the resident labour
market. The resident labour market is defined as countries within
the European Economic Area including the United Kingdom.
The shortage occupations are divided into different sectors as follows:
Engineering Sector
Healthcare sector
Other occupations

How I wish such a site was available when I applied for HSMP and came to UK under HSMP! Till before two days of our departure for the UK, we were not sure about where we will go when we land and if there would be any one to receive us at the airport. It was really a time of a lot of stress for us.
