If you are in the UK under Tier 1 General Scheme or under HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) and have not completed five years continuous stay in the UK, you will need to apply for extension under Tier 1 General Scheme.
Tier 1 (General) Extension is similar to Tier 1 General fresh application as you are required to score 75 points for Attributes such as Age, Education, Earnings and UK Experience. You also need to show English Language knowledge if your earlier HSMP approval was under old scheme. Maintenance funds requirements also need to be satisfied to qualify for extension. |
